Car Rental in Sweden
You will need a driving licence, passport or accepted form of ID and a credit card. You can rent a car for around 200 SEK a day. These are just guidelines, so do check with the car hire company to clarify the cost and documentation needed.
Speed limits are in kilometres per hour, and are as follows:
Motorway: 110kph/70mph
Towns: 50kph/30mph
Major Roads: 90kph/55mph
The Swedish drive on the right-hand side of the road.
EU nationals are allowed to drive on their existing licences, or exchange them for a Swedish licence if they have been a resident of Sweden for 185 days.
